425 East Jefferson Street

This property was acquired in May of 2005 and was in danger of being torn down after 27 years of abandonment. It was built in a Queen Anne/Carpenter Builder style and dates to c.1885. Items still remained from the previous owners and there were even dishes in the sink. 

The house was restored in 2010 and was part of that year's home tour.
