Every year, during Preservation Week, Franklin Heritage gives out awards to deserving members of the community who help keep Franklin historic. Individuals and businesses can receive awards for a variety of reasons including creative use of salvage materials. 

Every year,  The Franklin Heritage Committee gives awards for:  
  • The Best New Construction in an existing Historic       Neighborhood
  • The Best Adaptive Reuse of an Existing Historic Structure
  • The Best Renovation Project of an Existing Historic Structure
  • The Best New Addition to an Existing Historic Structure
  • The Best Continued Use of an Existing Historic Structure
  • The Restorer Of Old Franklin (ROOF Award)
  • The Lifetime Achievement for Meritorious Preservation 
  • Natural Beauty Award
  • Little Charmer Award 
  • The Kathleen Van Nuys Historic Farmstead Award
