FHI Preservation Week Awards

During preservation week, Franklin Heritage gives out various awards to members of the community based on Historical Preservation ideas and values.

Preservation Week 2008

Franklin Heritage Inc. recognized Barbara and Raymond Turner, of 53 Forsthe Street, for "Best New Construction in an Existing Historic Neigborhood."

 

 

 

Franklin Heritage Inc. recognized Colonel Mark and Carol Davis, of 5611 East 50 South, for "Best Addition to an Existing Historic Structure.".

 

 

 

Franklin Heritage Inc. recognized Darrell and Elizabeth DuSold, for "Lifetime Achievement for Meritorious Preservation (LAMP)," on continued efforts at 6484 East 350 North and 498 East Adams St.

 

 

Franklin Heritage Inc. recognized Kim and Craig Smith, with the "Restorer Of Old Franklin (ROOF) Award."

 

 

 

 

 

Franklin Heritage Inc. recognized the Phi Delta Fraternity, of 698 Monroe Street, for "Best Renovation of an Existing Historic Structure."

 

 

 

Franklin Heritage Inc. recognized Richard Goff and Meg Jones, of Richard's Kitchen, located at 251 South Main Street, for "Best Adaptive Reuse of an Existing Historic Structure."
