The 1890s Queen Anne style house was acquired by FHI in June of 2000. The upstairs of the house was damaged by a fire from someone smoking in bed. This prompted the insurance company to declare the house a total loss. The home was scheduled to be demolished until the insurance company contacted Franklin Heritage about purchasing the property.
